Four touring riders also rode. Odometer readings varied from a low of 642 miles, to a high of 681 miles due to the fact that there is no official route, riders choose their own way around. Riders were asked to enter their starting and ending mileage on their receipt envelope. Riders with no odometer were given 650 miles as a default reading. This year the riders combined mileage was 10,430 miles for an average of 651.875 miles per rider. Also, every rider rode home under their own power, no one had to be towed back. One rider experienced a battery failure 8 miles from the end and a battery jump box was provided to him. He then made it back without further issues.
